As far back as I can remember I've been fascinated with the outdoors and photography. It probably had to do with my upbringing as I was fortunate to have a father who was constantly exposing me to the two. A fantastic photographer himself I remember always being in awe of his slideshows and yearning deep down to one day showing off my own work. We spent many of my formative years exploring many of the natural wonders in my homeland Jamaica. Dad was always one to travel the "road less travelled" and anyone who has spent time with me will tell you I'll drive 45 minutes out of the way just to "discover" a new route:)

Throughout college and my twenties I continued to dabble here and there experimenting with different cameras and subjects but I didn't really dedicate myself until about two years ago. The digital slr completely revolutionized things for me because the instant feedback you get really speeds up the learning curve. No longer did I experiment with something only to be disappointed days later when the film was processed.

My photography focuses mainly on the natural wonders in and around Central Florida. Its such an amazing area because its where tropical meets temperate so you can find everything from manatees and alligators to Black Bears and white tailed deer. The bird life in this state is incredible. With hundreds of bird species, most native to the state, Florida is a bird lover's paradise. Birds, easy to attract and observe, provide hours of enjoyment and a connection to wildlife even in heavily urbanized areas.

In the past year I've been fortunate enough to be featured ina few nature and conservation related publications. For me this is quie a honor because it was those types of books and magazines which helped to fuel my interest as a kid growing up.

If you visit my gallery though you'll see that I'm not just limited to shooting nature. I love to photograph sports, dogs and even had my first crack at fashion photoshoot.

I hope you enjoy the site and if you want to check out what I'm up to you can visit my blog where I'll be documenting things I've found interesting or amusing from behind the camera.

For the record all the wildlife featured on this website were photographed in the wild.
